Poster sessions are held on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the exhibition hall.  Each session is 1.5 hours, the sessions will be split between odd and even poster numbers, so participants have 45 minutes to present their posters.

 

NOTE: Successful abstract submitters were notified on 24 August which poster session has been allocated to them. Due to the quantity of posters, it is not possible to change the allocated day.

Maximum recommended poster dimensions: 882 x 1,274mm (36" x 49.08") Portrait - DIN A0 Oversize Format.

The abstract book will be available online as a downloadable PDF two weeks prior to the conference to allow all registered participants to review abstracts and highlight posters of interest before arrival.  A printed abstract book will ONLY be available for you if you specify when registering that you would like one at a cost of €5.00. Some copies will be available for purchase onsite (subject to availability).

Please be aware that photographic recording of posters and other presentations is not permitted during the meeting.

EMBO Scientific Publications poster prizes

The EMBO Editors are highlighting exceptional research presented by young researchers in the poster sessions at The EMBO Meeting. Each of the EMBO Scientific Publications (The EMBO JournalEMBO reportsMolecular Systems Biology and EMBO Molecular Medicine) will award a poster prize to their elected top poster exhibited at the conference. They will be looking for high quality and exciting unpublished research presented in a clear and appealing manner.

How to participate: Submit an abstract to The EMBO Meeting. Your poster will be automatically considered if accepted.

Selections: Selections will be made by the editors  and members of the EMBO Young Investigator Programme and EMBO Installation Grantees based on the abstracts and during the poster sessions.

Prize: Voucher (value: €250) to be used towards the registration fee to any EMBO Course, Workshop or Conference of your choice in 2014.

The awards will be announced and presented during the closing ceremony.
